Anastasia Apostolos

Loquacious co-owner and Union Boss, Anastasia Apostolos, was bred and fed by a New Orleans artist and enjoyed exploring her formative years in the early 90s between his gallery in Mykonos, Greece, and within his gallery and their historic home on the 800 block of Royal Street in the paradisiacal French Quarter. After traipsing through several art and fashion schools she returned from San Francisco, to her beloved Big Easy, and settled into this surreal life.

Passionate about mythology, and art in motion, she is also the proud mother of our youngest guest artist, Bobby Harvey IV. They live the Bohemian Orleanian life happily in the Treme with their red standard poodle, Valentinos. You will hopefully recognize her when visiting as she previously directed the Myth Gallery exclusively managing the works of Betsy Youngquist and Scott Long, within the same space, from 2016 through 2023.

She is guided in life by the mantra articulated by Charles Eames, “Take your pleasure seriously,” which is to say an overall existence lived artfully is a paramount endeavor. The quality of life is in direct proportion to the capacity for delight, and Anastasia’s greatest joys are generated from connecting creators, community, and collectors through the currency of love within the Union Concept Space.
