Linda Moss
Shreveport based painter Linda Moss is all about the vibes. Everything is a vibration. Light, color, feelings, thoughts. Pre-Covid, Linda was a massage therapist by day and abstract painter by night. During the Covid shutdown, she began using art to process the big feelings of uncertainty and using social media to send tidings of hope to those within her reach. Her work shifted during this time becoming more representational of the nature and light that so inspire her. With her latest body of work, the pendulum swings back towards her abstract works ever so slightly, focusing more on expression and subjective color than being purely observational. Her work is inspired by light and shadows, the healing power of nature, and the comforts found in quiet moments. Beauty, she believes, is in the eye of the beholder and stories can be told using no words at all.
