Red Fish the fish was created by Betsy Youngquist and is a delightful celebration of the varying shades of red. The juicy lips are covered in Swarovski stones, and there is a little coral tongue poking through. In the words of Dr. Suess, "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish." This playful fish delights in swimming in the sea and frolicking in the surf. Red Fish can hang on the wall or sit on a table top. There is a hole on the back for hanging.
Using a paper mâché fish constructed with recycled paper from the Philippines, The surface technique is embedding with a myriad of old and new beads in a mosaic process.
